SOFIA OPEN DANCE FESTIVAL-KIDS is an international dance Festival for: classical, modern and characteristic dance, acro dance, sports and oriental dances, musical and dance theater, pole dance, salsa and bachata, dance show, hip-hop and Bulgarian folk dances.

The first edition was held on April 30, 2017 in the “Sofia” Sports Hall, Borisovs Garden. Since then, the festival has been gathering more and more dance friends from different cities and countries.

This year the festival will be held on April 25 and 26 at the Arena Armeec Arena – Training or Tent.

AIM OF THE FESTIVAL:

Creating a completely open dance forum accessible to dancers in the dance styles: classical, modern and characteristic dance, acro dance, sports and oriental dance, musical and dance theater, Pole dance, salsa and bachata, dance show, hip-hop and Bulgarian folk dance open to all types of dance organizations.

Organization of seminars within the Festival for the exchange of creative information of the development and achievements in different styles.

FESTIVAL FORM:

An open international dance festival with a competitive nature, as a result of which the best participants in all dance styles are selected. The jury is composed of proven professionals and is different for the respective category. Each year the jury is composed of different professionals from the styles participating in the Festival.

At the end of the international Festival, there are dance demonstrations and two special “Golden Rose” awards for the best dance of all styles.
